Detailed instructions for Education Sector Logon users on what to do if their Education Sector Logon account gets locked.

What do I do if my account is locked?

If you get the 'You have exceeded the maximum number of login attempts and your account has been locked' message then your Education Sector Logon account has been locked.

If this happens your only option is to contact the Education Service Desk and request a password reset.

The Education Service Desk are available Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm.

The Education Service Desk will need to verify you are the owner of the locked account. If they can verify you are the owner of the locked account the Education Service Desk will send an Education Sector Temporary Password email to the same email address of your Education Sector Logon Account.

Please Note: The Education Sector Temporary Password email will be sent from this e-mail address;    service.desk@education.govt.nz

Now that your account has been reset you will need to use the temporary password provided in the e-mail to change the password on your account so you can access your Education Sector Applications again.
